maiden voyage successful!

We did it! They fixed the Sammy this morning! Ryan was up at 7 am working on it! We went and ran Billings Canyon! The Sammy did great and Ryan had his own personal photographer-ME! We will post them later...We are headed back to Laura and Justins to get cleaned up, then we are going to get lunch and site see! Love yall! My husband is smiling a little bigger today!

Well...

We had a pretty good day yesterday visiting with Laura and Justin,but after lunch when set out to go 4 wheelin, we got about 5 minutes from the house and Ryans Sammy started cutting out! We pulled over and changed the fuel pump which he had been having problems with, but that wasn't the whole problem. We ended up loading it back on the trailer and Ryan and Justin worked on it most of the afternoon...still no luck yet! I feel sad for Ryan, We all know how excited he was...so I hope this morning he can get it going! We did cook out steaks and had a great dinner! Their baby Mason is precious! Ill keep ya posted! Say a little prayer that the Sammy will work today!

We woke up very early!!! Not used to the time change yet....it's 6:45 a.m. and we are waiting on breakfast to start...

We are heading to Grand Junction today to hang out with Laura and Justin and baby Mason. There is a place to go Rock Crawlin about 20 minutes from their house.

We are here!

We are here and it is beautiful!!!! We just got unloaded and took showers and changed and we are headed out to explore and find somewhere to eat for dinner!

Day 2 begins...

Well, I guess you can tell we didn't get to post pictures yet...we stopped at Midnight our time at the Americas Best Independce Inn by Best Western! They said they had wireless, BUT we couldn't get it to work! It was very cheap but fine to sleep in for a few hours...this will tell you a little something about the hotel...there was a bottle opener mounted to the wall in the bathroom! Ryan made me take a picture of that!

We stopped last night in Kansas City for dinner...We ate at Harrys County Club. It was a neat local place...the food was great and Ryan got to try a local beer.When we left we decided that I would try driving...everything was going great until we got a flat tire on the trailer! Ryan stayed calm until I got it pulled over...I held the flashlight and Ryan changed the tire in about 15 minutes and we were back on the road! We are going to stop today on the way to check on getting another spare.
We have around 8 hours to drive today...that will feel like nothing after yesterday! I can not wait to see the mountians!

Adventures so far....

Well its 5:30 our time (6:30 yours)
We haven gotten pretty far today and are still going!

We stopped for lunch around 12:30 at Subway and sat outside and ate, then got fuel and got back on the road.

Next we went to see the Gateway Arch in St.Louis.I will post pictures later. We saw another young couple trying to take pictures of themselves so we took pictures for them and they took some for us!

Our last stop was for our first Harley shirts! We stopped at Mid America Harley Davidson and got shirts. This was in Columbia, Missouri.

We just crossed over the Missouri River while I'm writing this...it's very full!

I'll write more later and post pictures tonight when we get to our hotel...I think Ryans new goal is Abilene, Kansas.

On the Road!

We just left Charlie and Lou Anns house and stopped to get gas! It's around 7:45 and we are on the road!

We are leaving!

We are all loaded up and about to leave the house! First stop Knoxville...dinner with Linda and Eric...Ryan won't tell me where we are going....then we are headed to Charlie and Lou Ann's to spend the night and have breakfast!!!
