She has a name!

She has a name!

Ryan got to pick our little girls name. I had a list of names I liked, but he came up with something different. :)

Our little girls name is Macy Jo Bean.

We will call her Macy. Bradley is calling her Baby Macy! Very sweet.

I think it is pretty neat that Bradley shares Ryan's middle name and Macy will share mine.

When you look up the meaning of Macy you find different things, but my favorite is "God's Gift." We are truly blessed.

A sweet friend from Sumter that lives in Florida now sent Bradley this book! She used it when her oldest became a big brother. So sweet.

Here we go again!

We found out on December 28, 2015 that were were pregnant. We couldn't quite believe it so we had a doctor's appointment the next day and they did an ultrasound telling us we were 6 weeks pregnant! WOW!

We decided to keep the news to ourselves for a while and opted to get the Harmony test done at 11 weeks to check our little one out and also find out the sex of the baby. We knew it would be exciting to announce to everyone knowing the sex already.

During those 5 weeks I was very sick so I think we both assumed we were having another little baby boy. Bradley kept insisting that it was a "gurl." We should have listened.

We went to the doctor at 11 weeks and did bloodwork and got to see our sweet baby moving her arms and legs on the ultrasound. Her heart rate was 172. Higher than Bradley's ever was, but I still wasn't convinced it was a girl.

On Monday, Feb. 8, the doctors office called telling us all of the test results came back great (so thankful) and that we were having a little GIRL!

I had hopes of surprising Ryan and Bradley after work, but I couldn't wait. I told Ryan and went during my lunch break to a local bakery and got a pink cupcake. Ryan got some pink balloons and we surprised Bradley when we got home. I'm not sure he knows exactly what is going on, but I know he will be a great big brother. He likes to touch and kiss my belly.

We took a picture of Bradley enjoying his snack and texted it to all of our parents at the same time. The calls and texts started rolling in.

Over the next fews days we told special friends and family members our good news.
